The Confederation of Africa Football has moved the 3rd and 4th place match of the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations originally scheduled for Sunday to Saturday.
A statement from the Federation says the 3rd place match would be played in the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium, Yaoundé at 7.00pm.
“The CAF TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Organizing Committee, after discussions with the Government of Cameroon and the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), decided to move the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2021 third and fourth place originally scheduled for Sunday 06 February 2022 to Saturday, 05 February 2022.”
Meanwhile, Senegal have secured their place in the final of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations final after defeating Burkina Faso 3-1 on Wednesday night.
Burkina Faso will now face the loser of the semi-final game between Cameroon and Egypt on Thursday.
