Ibrahim Mahama supports Tamasco with food items

Tamale Senior High School (Tamasco) in the Northern Region has taken delivery of a quantity of food items to support the students and save the school from food shortage. The items, which include one thousand (1,000) bags of rice, was donated to the school by an old student, Ibrahim Mahama, CEO of Engineers & Planners Limited.

Other food items handed over to the school are 100 gallons of cooking oil, 200 boxes of mackerel and 200 boxes of tomato paste. According to the school, the food items from Mr. Mahama is enough to cater for the feeding of their students this term.

Rafik Mahama, who presented the items to the school, said Mr. Ibrahim Mahama’s gesture will help better the conditions in school for the students, and also “inspire the students to study hard as they aspire to be great people in society.”

The Headmaster of Tamasco, Reverend Edward Azika, expressed his gratitude to Mr. Ibrahim Mahama for his continuous support to the school needs.

“It is a very good gesture, and this will help solve any food challenges the school may encounter. As an old student of the school, Mr. Ibrahim Mahama is also putting up a 550-bed dormitory for the school. This will help solve the accommodation challenges students face on campus.”

The headmaster said work on the dormitory project is progressing very well since work recommenced last September. Fully financed by Ibrahim Mahama, the project is 75% complete.
