John Dramani Mahama, the leader and flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has praised the party’s efforts in strengthening unity within its ranks.
According to Mahama, the party’s handling of appointing heads of various directorates has been seamless and highlights the close working relationships established since the NDC’s reorganisation exercise.
“… the seamless handling of the appointments, … underscores the close working relations established since the reorganisation exercise”, Mahama said in a Facebook post.
He emphasised the quality and breadth of the appointments, which he believes offer scope for inclusive leadership and efficient management of the party.
The party’s appointments, which include Dr Edward Omane Boamah as Director of Elections and IT, Professor Francis Dodoo as Director of Research, Professor Joshua Alabi as National Vice Chairman, Vincent Kuagbenu as Director of Special Duties and Edudzi Tamaklo as Director of Legal Affairs, are considered the most inclusive in the NDC over a long period.
The NDC leader stated that the appointments show the party’s intent to secure victory in the 2024 elections. It also demonstrates the NDC’s commitment to unity and inclusivity, a significant step towards achieving its good governance and development goals for all Ghanaians.
On Thursday, General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey announced the party’s appointment of a new team of directors and deputies, members of the National Executive Committee and National Vice Chairmen, as required by the party’s constitution.Share on:
